About Beautiful Fish Ponds

There is nothing more enjoyable than sitting in the garden, listening to the tranquil sound of running water, watching fish majestically glide around a pond. Beautiful Fish Ponds is passionate about building elegant, quality free-standing fish ponds.

The company was born out of my desire to have a pond of my own. All koi enthusiasts dream of a Japanese garden, with a large pond, a traditional sori-bashi (moon bridge) and cascading waterfalls. I didn't have a big enough garden for that, neither could I afford it, and I was too old to start digging a traditional pond. So I began looking for something simpler, something easy to maintain. All the free-standing ponds I found were just boxes, mostly made out of decking, over priced and frankly, ugly! I wanted something elegant, something that would enhance my garden. I couldn't find anything that I liked, so I built my own. Everyone who saw it loved it. They wanted one. So I started building them... Sitting beside my pond, that's my happy place.
